Blade II

Blade II is the sequel to the 1998 would-be first-in-a-franchise outing, Blade. It's like a comic book come to life, a lot of kinetic action sequence and a minimal character development. In reality, significant portion of the movie don't make a lot of sense, but logic was plainly not a top priority on the filmmakers' agenda. The movie is stuffed with violence, multiple dismemberments, sticky, mushy autopsies, Blade's blade and many other blades skewering and goring. One leading martial arts style fight after another, bodies burning, skeletons melting, rivers of blood, death, all set to an loud hard rock soundtrack but eye-catching special effects. But, if vampires are your cup of blood, Blade 2 is definitely better than the rest.
