Fainting

A severe emotional shock may cause a person to loose his consciousness for a certain
time period. Following signs normally follows faintness:

• Lightheadedness
  
• Weakness
  
• Nausea
  
• Skin may be pale and clammy
  
  What You Should Do
  
  Keep the victim lying down with head lowered and legs elevated
  
• Loosen any tight clothin
  
• Apply cool, damp cloths to face and neck
