Kashmir

Kashmir is located in the Northeast of Pakistan. Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Bagh and Kotli districts lie in the mountainous zones, whilst Mirpur district lies generally in the foothills.
The main rivers in Kashmir are Neelum, Jhelum and Poonch. Not to be missed is the wildlife that exists in Kashmir: Snow and Hunting Leopards, Black Bears, Grey Gorals, Musk Deer, Kashmir Stags, Snow Pheasants, Partridges, Peacocks, and Eagles.
Handicrafts like carpets, silk & woolen clothes, woolen shawls, and woodcarving are readily available.
